Ryan Staffier (they/he) is a photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. Currently pursuing his BFA in photography at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, he received the 2026 All School Show Award for artistic excellence.
Through the process of image-making, Ryan meditates on his life as a gay, transgender man. He has worked to document himself before and after starting hormone replacement therapy, combating his gender dysphoria while exploring self-affirmation.
